What's New in this version. 02/24/92 --------------------------- Version 1.6 accepts 2 decimals in the offset fields to allow finer control over positioning. Version 1.5 of CHECKS adds a copy feature to the check and envelope setups. Pressing F8 in the check or envelope setup table will prompt for a new setup name and copy the highlighted setup data. Thus, once the dimensions for an envelope are determined, additional setups can be made for different return addresses. The check and envelope setups now have individual font attributes. The return address for an envelope can be a different font from the addressee. The font attribute code from the F5 setup screen will be used as the default if no codes are entered for a check or envelope. Although it is not indicated on the screen, pressing " in the first positon of a setup font field will copy the default font attributes to that field. A bug was fixed that prevented using a return address on an envelope and a one time addressee. An envelope can be addressed with a setup using a return address without putting the addressee in the name and address file. NOTE - If you are upgrading from an earlier version: --------------------------------------------------- Because of the new features, the CSETUPS and ESETUPS files will have to be deleted and the check and envelope setup information reentered. Use the files from the CHKS15.ZIP file and add your setups to them. DO NOT overwrite the NAMES.* files with the CHKS15.ZIP version if you want to keep your name and addresses. Also, do not overwrite the PARMS.DAT file if you have changed the printer controls on the F5 screen.
